“Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world." (Howard Zinn)
Small Acts uses mirrored cables of two sizes, with a moss stitch background and garter stitch edging. The repetitive nature of the cables creates a sturdy and satisfying design and is ideal for those new to cabling.
Knitting is always a process of repeating small acts; stitch by stitch we build our fabric. The repetition of the cables in this design echos that concept. Maybe not world changing, but neck warming at the very least!
This design is a two-in-one as you can create either a scarf or a cowl. The cowl is formed by overlapping the ends by 5cm and sewing three buttons in place through both layers as shown in the photographs.
The pattern is fully charted and also fully written.
