If you love to travel, then you need to make the Everyday Travel Pouch! It has pockets for everything you need to get through the airport, and it’s small enough to take around with you while you take in the sights. Or you can use it everyday on your daily commute.
Pocket 1 – a slip pocket with a flap to hold your passport
Pocket 2 – a zip pocket to hold your travel cards, cash cards, train tickets and coins
Pocket 3 – a slip pocket sized to fit a boarding pass, concert tickets, or longer travel tickets
Pocket 4 – a vertical zip pocket to hold your currency, notes, or bills
Pocket 5 – this one is in the middle, and it’s for your phone!
This little travel pouch has even more going for it:
- I show you how to apply RFID fabric, to keep your belongings safe from being scanned
- I show you how to make a strap, so you can wear your pouch as a cross-body bag or a neck pouch
- You get an extra pattern piece to make either a plain front or a plain back. Or why not make just a simple phone pouch with no pockets? Great for a beginner project!
- I go into detail about how to make a perfect zipper pocket using a facing. There are two in this pattern, and I show you the techniques for both horizontal and vertical zipper pockets.
