This product delivers a fully completed, trail-specific planning guide for a shorter backpacking route (under 40 km / 25 miles).

If the trail you’re planning isn’t in our Trail Guides library yet, Tier 1 Custom Trail Research gives you a structured, ready-to-use planning system — built specifically for your route.

You receive a personalized Backpacking Planner PDF, researched and filled in for your trail, including:

• Trail overview and key stats
• Campsites, huts, or legal camping zones
• Permit and access requirements
• Daily distance and segment planning
• Transportation and trailhead logistics
• Water sources, hazards, and seasonal notes
• Multiple sample itinerary layouts you can adapt

This is not a single fixed itinerary.

It’s a complete planning framework for your trail — so you can confidently build the hike that fits your pace, group, and timeline.

Delivery

Tier 1 routes are delivered within 3–5 business days after you submit your trail details.

After Purchase

After checkout, you’ll receive a short form where you provide:

• Trail name
• Desired start and end points if known
• Desired travel dates, if known

Once submitted, we begin researching your trail and building your Custom Trail Planning Guide.

Important

This tier is for routes with a standard thru-hike distance under 40 km (25 miles).

If your trail falls on a boundary or has unusual complexity, we’ll contact you before beginning.
