Horryeopdo (胡獵圖) refers to a folk painting depicting scenes of hunting by the Mongols in the north. It symbolizes bravery with pictures of tigers, leopards, wild boars, deer, etc. while running briskly through mountains and fields. The hunting scene appears from the tomb murals of Goguryeo, but the hunting scene of the Goryeo Dynasty is dominated by wearing Mongolian clothes.

Although the action of using a spear, sword, and bow is described in detail, the location and size of mountains, fields, and rocks are strong in abstraction that do not match reality. Horyeopdo was often used as a decorative folding screen for gatherings of warriors or at home. In the private sector, it was also used as an exorcism to defeat disasters due to the savagery of friendly people. In general, this type of painting is colorfully developed with scenes of hunting by horsemen riding horses to catch tigers, deer, birds, rabbits, etc. against the background of snowy mountains. They are often decorated with connecting folding screens rather than individual screens, and show very formalized characteristics while being based on the original painting style of the Yuan Dynasty.
