Fail Closed

A tech thriller.

Ren Calder works Trip Integrity, which means making the system fail closed and deleting what it saw. The dump is supposed to be purged. They copy it first, and after that the city contract, the clinic script, and a road that was never supposed to leave a log all start rhyming in a way no one in the building wants written down. Fail closed is the policy that keeps the product looking clean. The copy is the part that still has a person attached to it.
