Saying Sorry to God retells the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11–32) for young readers in ten short chapters written to be read aloud, each taking about five minutes. The story follows the boy who wanted everything now, the pigpen, his decision — "I will go back to my Father" — the father who runs to meet him, the robe, the ring, and the party, and the big brother who frowns. The book then moves from story to practice: Chapter 8, How to Say Sorry to God; Chapter 9, God Always Forgives; and Chapter 10, Starting Fresh Every Morning. Every chapter ends with a Do or a Pray.
