Poems are boring. So I've heard. That is not what I choose to say because which poet would be dumb enough to ridicule their own works? I mean, it's understandable why... they sometimes can get too complicated or too puzzling to be understood by a mere simpleton. But tell me one thing, are you kind enough to give it a chance? Just one chance to move your heart and change your mind?
This book covers the hopeful yearnings and the sad wails of a heart that has seen much more than it should have. As days pass, the heart narrates its tales of longing and grief through the events it has lived.
Although a lot of pieces in this book are inspired by true incidents, some of them have had the honor of just brewing in my head and suddenly existing! (Being twenty-something does not give you a lot of experience...)
I hope you don't give up after the first few poems because it's taken no blood, but sweat and tears for sure. Have fun, use the cliche ones to propose, and just tag me, maybe? Bye!!
