Held at The Crossing between LEaving and Arrival

Do you stand at a crossroads in your life?

I know what it feels like to not know what to do, and to have to make a choice. So it resonates highly with me. This watercolor was born after a decision was taken, yet I didn´t know I had made it, as this is the subconscious that spoke to me through the coour and paper and brush.

And so if your decision is a life changing one, then this piece speaks of that energy, and guides you during the transition phase.

There is a moment that does not belong to time.

It comes after the leaving,

and before the arrival.

In this moment, the body is light enough to remember itself—

not as weight, not as history,

but as motion held inside a circle of care.

This painting was born in that moment.

A figure drifts within a deep indigo field, suspended rather than falling. The circle around her is not a boundary but a holding—like water cupped by hands, like night keeping a secret. Violet and midnight blue fold into one another, carrying traces of gold that appear less like decoration and more like coordinates, as if something has been quietly mapped and trusted to unfold.

Nothing here is urgent.

Nothing is being demanded.

This is the space we pass through when something old has loosened its grip, and something new has not yet asked for form. A place of breath. Of listening. Of being held long enough for the nervous system—and the soul—to settle.
