UAE Climate Law 11 Kit
The first compliance window under Federal Decree-Law No. (11) of 2024 closed on 30 May 2026. This kit gets your side of the line ready.
Four deliverables covering the law's two pillars — mitigation and adaptation:
GHG Inventory & Readiness Tool (Excel, 7 tabs) — organisational boundary and Source-designation self-check, Scope 1 & 2 with automatic tCO2e calculation (including district cooling — a UAE emission line most generic templates miss), a full 15-category Scope 3 screening, summary charts ready to carry into the official IEQT platform, and a 5-year records log built for the law's retention requirement.
Climate Risk & Adaptation Readiness Register (Excel, 5 tabs) — physical and transition risks scored and rated with traffic-light formatting, a loss-and-damage log (the data the law expects entities to submit), and an adaptation readiness checklist that pre-positions you for your sector's adaptation plan the day it's issued.
Emissions Reduction & Mitigation Plan (Excel, 5 tabs) — baseline and target, a measure register with expected vs actual reductions, annual progress tracking, and a coverage-gap check. Offsets are tracked separately so they never inflate your reduction figures.
Explainer deck (13 slides) — what the law requires, the timeline, what's yours to do versus the government's, and how the kit maps to it. Useful for briefing management.
Honest scope: this is preparation and readiness. Formal reporting runs through MOCCAE's IEQT platform (mrv.ae — the link and contacts are built into the instructions), and formal verification is reserved for MOCCAE-accredited third parties. The kit says so, clearly, throughout.
Aligned with GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 concepts, IFRS S2-style risk categorisation, and the requirements of the law itself (all paraphrased). Formula cells locked, instructions on every tool, spare rows and version stamps throughout.
Need a hand?
Every kit can be tailored or reviewed with the author on an hourly basis — from a one-hour kickoff call to a full readiness review of your completed suite (a quality check, not formal third-party assurance). Bundle buyers can add a 1-hour expert review for $150.
All tools include step-by-step instructions, [bracketed] fields for your details, framework alignment notes (GRI 2021, IFRS S1/S2 and related standards, paraphrased — never reproduced), and version stamps. Excel tools have locked formulas and open input cells — nothing to break, everything to complete.
