Spirit — Jaya Khoobsurat

Written during a deeply emotional period of upheaval, Spirit began with a quiet plea for help. One night, overwhelmed by sadness and trying to understand my purpose in this life, I asked Spirit for guidance.

The song emerged from that search for meaning and from my need to move beyond the pain of my early years. Originally released on Coloured Wings (1998), Spirit became a musical expression of hope, healing and the possibility of finding light during life's darkest moments.
