EFL-ESL Overtourism Speaking Lesson
Have you ever had one of those lessons where your EFL students got through the materials quicker than expected, and you needed a short activity to fill the last few minutes? Perhaps you’re looking for a ready-to-use warm-up, or maybe you just want a conversation activity that gets your students talking and expressing their opinions. This mini speaking lesson on overtourism is just the thing for you. Perfect for both 1-to-1 and group lessons with older teens and adults, I’ve found it works well with students of English as a foreign language who are at levels ranging from B1 to C1+. While this resource can be used as a quick 10-minute filler, you can also use the suggestions and instructions provided in the teacher’s guide to turn it into a longer speaking lesson.
The PowerPoint, which also comes in a printable PDF format, has three slides:
⭐️ Slide 1: Title page
⭐️ Slide 2: Photo-based speaking activity
⭐️ Slide 3: Speaking activity with five different prompts
