Coping with Pain(illness) Bundle
Chronic pain management is something that is deeply important to me, both professionally and personally.
For many years, I lived with fibromyalgia and numerous autoimmune conditions. At one point, my medical chart included more than 15 different diagnoses. Today, many of those conditions are in remission, not because there was one magic solution, but because I spent years learning about nervous system regulation, exploring different therapeutic techniques, making lifestyle changes, using supplements, and discovering what truly worked for my body.
The journey was not easy. At first, I was skeptical, frustrated, and even angry. Living with chronic pain can bring grief, fear, hopelessness, and exhaustion. What I eventually learned is that healing is rarely about finding one perfect answer. It is about finding the combination of tools that works for you.
As I experienced improvement in my own life, I began introducing many of these approaches to clients struggling with chronic pain. I watched people discover new ways to reduce suffering, regain hope, and feel more in control of their lives. That experience inspired me to create this resource.
One of the most fascinating things we know from neuroscience is that emotional pain and physical pain are processed in many of the same areas of the brain. Because of this connection, learning healthy ways to calm the nervous system and respond to pain can make a meaningful difference in both physical discomfort and emotional well-being.
This bundle was created to provide practical, evidence-informed strategies that many therapists may not routinely incorporate into treatment. My hope is that these worksheets give you a variety of options to explore, because no single technique works for everyone, and that is okay. The goal is to build a personalized toolbox of coping strategies that support your unique healing journey.
Inside this bundle you will find 10 worksheets:
- Reducing Pain by Reducing Judgment
- Sensory Replacement for Pain
- Pain Management Techniques to Explore and Problem Solve
- Guided Motor Imagery
- Color Breathing for Pain
- Breathing Into the Pain
- Body Gratitude Scan
- Aromatherapy for Pain Management
- Supplements and Other Ways to Support Pain Management
- Visualization of Light Healing
I hope these resources encourage curiosity, compassion, and empowerment. Even small changes practiced consistently can create meaningful improvements over time.
