Your club’s finances, sorted in an evening, not a weekend.

Import your club’s bank statement and The Club Office sorts every transaction into proper club categories. It builds your dashboard and budget, and produces a report you can take straight into the AGM. No more wrestling with a spreadsheet the night before.

Your free 14 days, and what happens next

Download it, open club-treasurer.html in Google Chrome and set your club up with a real bank statement. Everything works for 14 days.

When you’re ready, buy the full year from The Club Office store and paste in the licence code you’re emailed. Everything you’ve set up carries straight over.

Built by a cricketer, for cricket clubs

I’m Ben Charlesworth, a professional cricketer with Lancashire, formerly Gloucestershire. While I was injured this season I spent time at my local club and saw how much our volunteer treasurers do with almost no help. The Club Office is built around how cricket clubs actually run: subs, match fees, bar takings, sponsorship and the AGM.

What it does

  • Sorts your bank statement automatically. Import a CSV from any major UK bank and transactions are filed into club categories. Teach it a rule once and it applies to every statement after that.
  • Shows where the club stands. A dashboard of income, spending and balances across all your accounts, for any date range.
  • Plans the season. Set a budget and track actual spending against it as the year goes on.
  • Keeps track of members and sponsors. See who has paid subs and which sponsorship money has come in.
  • Writes your AGM report. A clean year-end summary for the committee, the AGM or your examiner, ready to print.

How it works

  1. Download a CSV statement from your club’s online banking.
  2. Import it into The Club Office.
  3. Check the few transactions it doesn’t recognise. Everything else is done.

Your data never leaves your computer

The Club Office runs in your web browser as a single file on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, there’s no account to create, and I never see your club’s figures. Your records are saved to a file the club keeps.

Need to run it past the committee?

Use the free trial with your real figures, print the AGM report and take it to your next meeting. That shows them what it does better than anything I can write here.

Price

  • £139 for the first year, covering one club, used on as many computers as you like.
  • £79 a year after that to renew.
  • If you don’t renew, your records stay yours. They’re never locked. You can always view, print and export them.

What you need

A Windows PC or Mac, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and online banking that exports CSV statements (most UK banks do).

Questions

  • Is this accounting software? No. It’s an organisation and reporting tool for club treasurers. It doesn’t replace your accountant or independent examiner, and it isn’t legal, tax or accounting advice.
  • Which banks does it work with? Exports from the major UK banks, including Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest, HSBC, Santander, Nationwide, Monzo, Starling and Unity Trust.
  • Can more than one person use it? Yes. One licence covers your club on any number of computers.
  • What’s included? The Club Office, a set-up guide (PDF) and the video walkthroughs.

What treasurers say

“Congratulations on producing a product that meets the majority of the needs of anyone tasked with managing a Club’s finances.” (Dumbleton CC treasurer)
