When I first began changing my nutrition, the holidays were tough. I wasn’t able to eat many of my traditional favorites anymore. I mean, I could have, but my body would have paid the price, and I wasn’t willing to compromise my health anymore.
For the first couple years I just went without...until one year, I decided to take some of my family’s traditional recipes and use ingredients I was able to enjoy. It took a couple years to get them just right, but now I feel like I finally have!
Now I am able to share them with you all! I want you to know that if you are struggling with chronic health issues or just want to eat healthier, you don’t have to go without. You can still enjoy all your traditional favorites... they will just look a little bit different than they used to. I promise they taste just as delicious!
