The rumor mill says my dad was captured by a lust demon. I sliced down half a nest of them by myself, but I can't go in there alone. There's no way one lust demon overpowered our dad, one of the best hunters in the Midwest. The only person I can count on ran off to college four years ago. He's gotta be close to graduation and probably has academic bullshit before he graduates, but I don't care. I need him more. Dad needs him.

When Wyatt shows up at my dorm room, I'm not surprised Dad is missing. I'm concerned because Wyatt's worried about it. My twin fears nothing, especially not some rumor of a lust demon hiding out in a motel near Denver. Still, I humor him. It's not like I need to go to the classes I'm acing, anyway.

I don't want my boys to search for me. I beg for death, or any other hunter, to save me from this fate. When they find me, they'll be as cursed as I am. The lust demon has a plan for us, one that goes against everything I've ever taught them about hunting paranormal creatures to extinction.
