How a Design Consultancy Works
Each consultancy session is 90 minutes, 1:1 on zoom1.
1.Preparation:
Before the session, you'll gather images, sketches, plans, and dimensions of your garden. This preparation allows for a more focused and productive discussion.
2. Your Brief:
Compile a detailed brief that includes everything you wish to discuss. This should cover the position, configuration, and any specific elements you want clarity on regarding your garden's design.
3. 1:1 Brief & Creative Brainstorming:
This initial step is all about getting clear on the brief and your desires practically and aesthetically, including exploring ideas and possibilities. It's a time to dream big and think creatively about what your garden could become.
I will encourage you to take notes through the session, we can share and save images that are a source of inspiration or information.

Please ensure you collate all the information we need for your consultancy.
4. Collaborating and Solutions:
During the session, we'll go through all aspects of your garden within the possibility of the 90-minute timeframe. We'll get clear on the positioning and zoning of the space, determining what goes where to create harmony and flow. We will decide what is cohesive and what may not be and how to bring all your wishes together cohesively.
5. Decision Making:
Together, we'll make any necessary decisions, both practical and aesthetic, to ensure your garden meets your expectations. This includes choosing materials, plants, and the overall layout. If time allows we can discuss added elements such as lighting, structures, sculpture.
6.Scheduled time:
The time required can be scheduled for the call. This may be a standard 90 minute call or longer as agreed and as required.
Additional sessions can be booked as the garden project evolves.
7. Follow-Up:
After the session, if required you'll receive a summary of what was discussed, including any decisions made if required, and the next steps to bring your dream garden to life.

My expertise encompasses a wide range of styles, from traditional and classic gardens to enchanting kitchen gardens, lush vegetable and herb gardens, and vibrant orchards, all created for the enjoyment of others.

During a visit to Sandown Park Homebuilding & Renovation Show for general updates we spotted Laara`s stand where we were impressed with her designs.
