Clifton Keefer Brown is a ballet educator, choreographer, and former professional dancer with international performance and teaching experience. He is a former Principal Dancer with Grand Rapids Ballet and has performed with companies in the United States and Europe, including Ballet Arizona, Djazzx (Netherlands), L’ensemble Da Micha Van Hoecke (Italy), and Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin.
As an educator, Clifton holds an MFA and previously served as an Associate Professor of Ballet, where he led a university dance program and successfully guided its accreditation through the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD). He also created the only BA in Dance degree in the state of Kentucky.
His pedagogy work focuses on class structure, progression, clarity of correction, and the development of artistry alongside technical training. Inspire & Elevate reflects decades of combined performance and teaching experience across private studios, academies, and higher education.
