i made a video saying my ex tried to play about me going to work a restaurant job with a bachelor’s degree so i decided to make some cute art out of it 🙂‍↕️🤭 because one thing you will not do is try to jab at me about a CHOICE i’m comfortable i made. and this speaks more to how this system is ran than me personally.

i was set to graduate in 2019 then got deployed ‘19-‘20. so i got robbed of my senior year TWICE. trying to get a job in the sports industry during a PANDEMIC was almost impossible if you weren’t already in an internship program. and i didnt get to do an in-person internship BECAUSE of the pandemic. but i told myself i was going back to school eventually, i just wanted to make sure i knew in what first before going back. which is why i’m now pursuing a master of science in forensic psychology

society changing the goal post is not my fault. but i made it my responsibility to beat the odds anyway.

to recents grads, it’s okay if you have to take a job at a restaurant, or a grocery story, or a warehouse, or wherever pays your bills even if it’s not in the indsutry you desire. a customer you come across could end up being in that industry you desire to work and that could be your opportunity to make your way in it 🤍
