Question 1 - (The Shift between men and women in 2025)
Why does it seem that, in the UK, women are advancing in their careers and earning higher salaries at a faster rate than men, despite men historically being the primary earners?
It appears that many women approach career success with a structured mindset:
- Pursue higher education and gain extensive qualifications
- Commit to years of rigorous training, degrees, and certifications, often becoming overqualified
- Secure high-paying jobs through either persistence or by leveraging their credentials
- Prioritise financial stability, buying homes, taking holidays, and maintaining a strong career—even as single mothers or without dependents
Meanwhile, many men seem to take a different approach:
- Work in jobs they may not enjoy just to cover expenses and survive
- Pursue entrepreneurship or their own visions, aiming for long-term success rather than immediate career progression
Given these differing mindsets, why are men struggling to achieve the same high career standards and financial success as women today?
