Every subscription and every one-off bill with its annual cost worked out, its next charge dated, and the price rises totalled — because recurring charges are priced monthly precisely so the annual figure never gets looked at.

The annual cost on every row, the next charge computed rather than remembered, a price watch that totals the rises you never agreed to, and a monthly calendar of what actually leaves your account — including the bills that land once a year and never renew.

WHAT YOU GET

- The workbook with a complete worked example filled in

- The same workbook with the example rows cleared and every formula live

- A ten-minute Quick Start guide as a PDF

- CSV backups of the workbook tables for reference or data portability; spreadsheet-app import compatibility has not been tested

- Your licence

THE SHEETS

- Start Here: The four cells to set first, and the ten-minute path through the workbook.

- Dashboard: Sixteen computed numbers and two charts, in four strips: what you pay, what it comes to, what is about to happen, and what the file found.

- Settings: The report date and the two thresholds. The date re-dates every countdown in the file, so set it first.

- Register: One row per thing that bills you: subscriptions on a cycle, and one-off bills that never renew. The annual cost is computed from the price and the billing cycle on every row, and a one-off is left with no renewal date rather than a made-up one.

- Price Watch: Every subscription whose price has moved, stated per period, per year and as a percentage. Fills itself from the register.

- Monthly Calendar: One row per charge that lands this month, with the day of the month. An annual charge appears once and whole, and so does a one-off bill — in its own month and never again.

- Trial Watch: Every free trial with the days left computed and the annual cost if you let it continue.

- Household Split: Who pays what, counted and totalled off the register.

- Cancelled: The decisions already made, kept rather than deleted, with what each one has saved you so far.

- Rules: Six claims the workbook makes about itself, each counted over your own register rather than asserted.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

The annual cost is a column on every row rather than a separate summary, so the number that actually matters sits beside the monthly price that was designed to hide it. The next charge is computed from the billing cycle and the start date, so a renewal cannot arrive as a surprise, and an annual charge appears once and whole on the monthly calendar instead of being smoothed away across twelve months. A one-off bill counts as one charge in the year and gets no renewal date at all, because a date for something that does not renew would be a confident, specific, wrong number — which is the failure this workbook exists to remove.

WHO IT IS FOR

Anyone paying for more subscriptions than they can list from memory, anyone who has found a charge on a statement they did not recognise, and anyone with a bill that arrives once a year and is never budgeted for because nothing reminds them.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

It is not a bank connection, a cancellation service or a budgeting app. It counts what you enter and computes dates from it, and it does not cancel anything on your behalf.

COMPATIBILITY

Designed for Microsoft Excel 2016 or later. Product-specific formula checks passed, but the workbook was not opened and recalculated in native Excel during this review. Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, and Apple Numbers have not been tested; formulas, charts, or formatting may differ. No macros or add-ins.
