CMS Splay Carousel — fanned card deck carousel for Framer
A carousel for Framer that fans your CMS collection out like a hand of cards — every card turns around one pivot below the track, the middle card stands upright, and drag, wheel, arrow keys and dots all move the fan.
What you get
One Framer code component (CMS Splay Carousel), delivered as a Component URL.
Per-card controls: title, caption, image with alt text, link, and a tint that draws the card face when there is no image yet.
A component slot per card, so a CMS collection drives the fan directly.
The fan set in plain numbers: spread in degrees, pivot and spacing in pixels, lift, edge fade and how many cards show each side.
How it behaves
One number runs it. The centre index is the whole state; drag, wheel, arrow keys, dots and arrow buttons all move that one number and CSS carries the cards there.
Drag turns the fan. The deck rotates with your finger and eases square onto the nearest card on release, with vertical page scrolling left to the page.
Autoplay that reads the room. Set the interval in seconds; it rests while a visitor hovers or tabs in, and stays off for anyone who asks for reduced motion.
Announced properly. A region with a carousel role, a labelled group per card, keyboard control, and a polite live region that speaks on a visitor's move.
Self-contained. Everything happens inside the component's own frame: your project's images, your CMS, your styles.
