Just Say the Word

A Roman officer's beloved servant is sick and suffering, but the officer believes Jesus does not even need to come to his house — "just say the word" is enough. Children watch faith cross every boundary and discover that Jesus honors a humble, trusting heart wherever he finds one. Drawn from Matthew 8, this is a story about believing Jesus at his word.

Written for children ages 6–12, this book has ten chapters, each with three illustrations (30 in all) and a "Do" activity and a "Pray" prayer to close. All Scripture is quoted from the King James Version (KJV). It ends with a Gospel Invitation that helps a child understand how to begin following Jesus, plus a note for grown-ups.
