PREFACE
I have the pleasure to introduce this book to all who concern
in the accountancy sciences in the Arab world , hoping they
reconsider what they studied or applied in practical life based
on the credit–debit concept . The reader will find that data
extracted from the current accounting system are totally
incorrect as concepts and bases on which the current accounting
theory , ( If it’s correct to call it so), is based lead to misguiding
results for they are not close to the practical reality . In addition
to that hypotheses and postulates of these bases are not true , so
all extracted data from them are misleading .
In introducing this book I preferred it to be separate from the
theory of units series to give the reader the theoretical
philosophy behind the theory of units to compare it to its
practical applications.
I indicated the inadequacy in using the double entry system
based on the credit and debit philosophy . In comparing it to
the theory of units it’s proved to be inable to fulfill its tasks in
all assets and uses .
In chapter 1 ( The intellectual frame of the theory of units) I
indicated how the theory measures the accounting operations,
its applications cycle , its benefits, how it leads to the change in
the Arabian citizen’s behavior and turns his from a consumer
into a producer , and its effects on the economical aspects . In
