Inspired by my Crazy Hexi Cool Cardi

The Crazy Hexi Cool Top was inspired by my Crazy Hexi Cool Cardi, where I first combined sections of solid stitches with classic granny stitch.

I loved the combination of texture, structure and drape and wanted to explore it in a lighter, more streamlined garment. The result is a pretty fabric with wonderful movement and the relaxing rhythm that makes granny stitch so enjoyable to crochet.

The continuous granny stitch creates elegant vertical lines that naturally draw the eye downwards, giving the top a flattering, elongating silhouette.
