The poem

Beware the night, when the moon is bright

For a creature roams, with a terrible bite

Its fur is thick, and its claws are sharp

And its howl can make your blood run cold.

A werewolf it is, with a thirst for blood

And a hunger that cannot be withstood

It prowls the forest, with eyes aglow

Searching for prey, to sink its teeth into.

Its transformation is swift and cruel

As it sheds its human form, and becomes a ghoul

Its snout elongates, its teeth grow long

And its muscles bulge, as it becomes strong.

The werewolf's scent is keen and keenly felt

As it stalks through the night, with a savage pelt

Its eyes are yellow, its breath is hot

And its claws can rend, with a single swat.

So stay inside, and lock your doors

For the werewolf is on the prowl, and it seeks a score

If it finds you, you'll surely die

For there's no escaping, a werewolf's eye.
