The Mini Star Baby is a Waldorf-inspired doll that is low-sew, quick to work up, and comes with two variations to crochet! It features a cute baby in a star shaped outfit and pixie hat. The arms and legs of the doll are soft and unstuffed, but it has a chubby body in the center.

This doll makes a sweet baby shower gift, keychain, Christmas stocking stuffer, or birthday gift, or anyone who could use a special wish! If this is intended for an infant or young child, make sure the eyes are embroidered to avoid choking hazard. You can make it for craft fairs and markets too.

The PDF pattern includes lots of photo references to guide you through the doll-making process.

Bulky weight 5 yarn in desired colors (I used Lion Brand Yarn Posh Twist)

5mm crochet hook

7mm crochet hook

6mm black safety eyes

Stuffing

Yarn needle

Scissors

STITCHES USED (US TERMS)

FO = fasten off

ch = chain

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)

FLO = front loops only
