CEREMONY – “Sospesi”

It's not an album, it's a condition.

A place frozen in time where words walk slowly and silence weighs as much as sound.

“Sospesi” lives in the rarefied air of the darkest new wave, the kind that seeks not gesture but absence, not form but crack. The songs seem to come from a ghostly Florence, outside of history, where the lights are dim and the voices remain stuck between what has been and what will never return.

The singing, in Italian, doesn't guide: it remains.

It's a tightrope between fragility and resistance, between memory and dissolution. The guitars never scream, the rhythm advances like a nocturnal step, the bass throbs like a fixed thought. Everything is held back, as if the album deliberately refuses any liberation.
