This 0 to 20 Number Pages resource combines number recognition, counting, number writing and directed drawing for PreK to 1st grade. For each number, students trace, color, make, tally and count it, trace and write the number word, find and circle the number, underline it in a sentence and complete a themed directed drawing.

Each number connects to a drawing, giving students a visual anchor for the quantity they are learning: 0 jar, 1 cat, 2 dog, 3 bat, 4 cow, 5 bee, 6 ant, 7 owl, 8 fox, 9 pig, 10 rat, 11 car, 12 bus, 13 cup, 14 pen, 15 hat, 16 ball, 17 key, 18 egg, 19 sun and 20 jug.

HOW TO USE IT

Use the pages for number of the day, math centers, morning work, early finishers, sub plans or homeschool math. Print single pages as needed, follow a number-of-the-week routine, or build a full numbers booklet that students work through over time.

The pages work at the start of the year for introduction, mid-year for reinforcement and later for review. The drawing portion also supports fine motor skills, pencil control and following directions, which helps visual learners and early writers.
