Who Wears Short Shorts?

A top down, seamless pair of shorts for very slim mini ball jointed girl dolls.

After working a few rows of twisted ribbing a section of short rows raises the back waist for better coverage. Increases are then worked for the hips and to shape the crotch before stitches are divided to knit the legs. The small crotch gusset is then either grafted closed or seamed on the inside with a three needle bind-off.

This pattern is written in one size only and has been tested on Resinsoul single jointed girls (best fit), Resinsoul double jointed girls (tight fit), and Dollzone single jointed girls (body b45-002, good fit). It may also fit other slim mini girls with hips between 17 and 19cm.

Due to the difficulty in measuring gauge on such a small item, as well as the requirement for stretchy cast-ons and bind-offs, it is recommended to try the shorts on your doll periodically as you knit.

This pattern requires approximately 5 grams of thread to complete.
