Perfect for new parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, godparents, aunts, uncles…or anyone who just loves a little one, our three-song bundle with all-new 2023 recordings, contains music to lull your child to sleep — or send him, her or them off into the world wrapped in love and confidence. (The two lullabies are A Cappella, because seriously, when you sing your kid to sleep you don’t generally whip out an instrument or invite the whole band in…)
This bundle includes Mommynightskye (Evan’s lullaby), Gifts to Offer, and Rest You in My Arms (Dan’s lullaby).

“When my youngest son was just a preschooler, he spontaneously started running around the house one day yelling, ‘I’m racing through the mommy night sky’ with great enthusiasm. The phrase stopped me in my tracks because it was just so magickal and evocative! All kinds of imagery popped into my head and a lullaby was born. (Thanks again for the inspiration, Evan!)” — Roberta
Racing through the mommy night sky
Can you feel me fly?
I am the wind in your face
As you move through your dream space
And you are safe
You are protected
As the moonlight spills past your windowsill
Your soul is free to glide
Between the cold white clouds and the stars distant fire
Moving down the mommy night street
Can you hear my feet?
I am the rhythm and song
Pulsing through you all night long
And you are safe
You are protected
As your nightlight glows, let your sweet soul know
Your soft bed awaits your return
When your wild dreams tire, and the planet turn to the sunrise
Until I hold you
In my arms again
Travel free through your dreams
Let time and space bend
For my love will be with you
Through each magick realm you find
I am the light to guide you home
Racing through the mommy night sky

“When my oldest son was five years old, he was all excited about a birthday party a friend was going to be having. But the weeks passed and he hadn’t received an invite, so he was seriously crushed. As a parent, it’s the worst feeling not to be able to prevent all the inevitable hurts rolling downhill and aimed right at your kid. This song was the answer to the question of what it was I could offer instead of perfect protection from all those painful experiences. …And, this particular story actually has a happy ending. Shortly after I finished writing this song, my son’s invitation to that longed-for birthday party turned up and fun was had by all!” — Roberta
If I could be your armor, child, I gladly would agree
To battle fears and anybody less than nice
But I don’t have the power to stop hurt feelings or hurt knees
This world is yours to face and it’s not easy
And I cannot guarantee safe passage through this troubled place
But I have gifts to offer that might ease you on your way
So if this world at times seems jumbled, mean and just too wild
Let my words be a pillow, when you need to rest your mind
Let my words be a pillow, when you need
To rest your mind
My magic wondrous child, all the things your eyes will know
The vastness of the planet lies before you
I know you will find friendship, and I know you will find love
And I wish there weren’t also those who’d use you
And I cannot guarantee safe passage through this troubled place
But I have gifts to offer that might ease you on your way
So if there are times that what you see can only leave you cold
Let my arms be a blanket, when you need to warm your soul
Let my arms be a blanket when you need
To warm your soul
For all the times you’ll triumph, and the times that you will failI
I know that you’ll prevail and you will shine
Whatever paths you choose, I will stand by you till the end
And my belief in you will never waiver for a moment baby
So if you’re pulled to places, you don’t want to be
Let my love be an anchor when you’re feeling lost at sea
Let my love be an anchor and you’ll not
Be lost at sea

“When I was little, I was so afraid of the dark that it made it hard for me to fall asleep. Yeah, bedtime was quite an issue in my house…But my dad in his infinite wisdom, suggested that I think of the darkness as a velvet blanket — something nice and comforting that would keep me safe and warm until morning. That lovely image stays with me to this day…
“When I had my first child many years later, and felt moved to write him a lullaby, I knew I wanted it to share that comfort my dad gave me from the get-go, and for my little son to never be scared of the darkness. So wouldn’t you know, my first born turned out to be a total night owl!
“Thanks, Dad for this inspiration. And may any darkness you encounter in the great beyond be velvety, shimmering, awe-inspiring…and bring you only great comfort.” — Roberta
Darkness falls as rich as velvet
Glistening with stars
Snuggled in your blankets
I see sleep tug at your arm
Let it take you to a place
Where dreams are free to roam
Gentle, wild imaginings
You are safe from harm
Rest you in my arms
Sleep you by my side
Cradled in my love
Take this gentle ride
Till the morning sun
Smiles warmly from the blue
Rest you in my arms, child
I will stay by you
Wispy clouds of angel hair
Drift past moonlit fields
Let imagination soar
And make the magick real
There you will be taken
Where your dreams are free to roam
Gentle wild imaginings
You are safe from harm
Rest you in my arms
Sleep you by my side
Cradled in my love
Take this gentle ride
Till the morning sun
Smiles warmly from the blue
Rest you in my arms, child
I will stay by you
