The Wild Workout.
Human beings invented gyms, but some of the
most capable athletes on Earth live in the wild. Animals have developed
bodies well suited to running, climbing, and crawling. In physical
education, these are sometimes called ‘animal flow’ movements.
By mimicking the way animals move, we are quietly teaching our
children biomechanics, full-body coordination, and zoology at the same
time. Let's turn the living room into a jungle gym.
