Hey Planter Fam, I'm Jeanique Lightsey — mom, financial literacy educator, and founder of Plant the Seed Financial Literacy. I started this brand in 2020 because I was that child who grew up without anyone teaching me how money works. I learned by making mistakes — overdrafting, not knowing what a budget was, living paycheck to paycheck. I built Plant the Seed so that no child — and no mom — has to figure it out alone. Everything I teach is budget friendly, judgment free, and built from real life.
