Drawing from a journey as a nonprofit founder and seven-time fellowship recipient, Yura Sapi knows what it takes to transform visionary projects into funded realities. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of navigating applications, fundraising systems, and the self-doubt that often comes with them, Yura developed a clear and accessible framework for grantwriting—one that combines practical strategy, confidence-building, and alignment with purpose.

Yura Sapi is a visionary leader, interdisciplinary artist, and nonprofit founder who has mastered the art of aligning bold ideas with sustainable funding. As the founder and CEO of LiberArte Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Yura has successfully secured grants from city, state, and national funders, while also mentoring other artists and changemakers to do the same.
A seven-time fellowship recipient, including Echoing Green, the Intercultural Leadership Institute, and the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures, Yura has firsthand experience navigating competitive applications and standing out to funders.
