The Relationship Clarity Guide
The Relationship Clarity Guide
Naming what's actually not working
Nobody taught you how to name what's actually wrong in a relationship, so instead you smooth it over and wait for it to pass.
This guide gives you a way to separate the feeling from the story you've built around it, and hands you a simple formula for saying it plainly: I feel [emotion] when [situation]. What I need is [need].
The above format isn’t something I invented. It comes from Nonviolent Communication, a framework developed by psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, built on the idea that naming a feeling and a need is the clearest path from confusion to connection (Rosenberg, n.d.) .
Inside this guide:
• How to separate the feeling from the story
• The I Feel, I Need formula, with real examples
• Self-coaching prompts and a 15-day practice tracker
This won't fix everything that's gone quiet between you and someone else overnight. What it will give you is a first honest sentence, a way to name what's real instead of letting it move underground.
There's a process here, one that's helped other people finally say the true thing, without turning it into a fight or losing themselves in the explaining. 💌
