The first 2,000 characters do most of the work in written Chinese. This pack gives you every way we know of to learn them: a poster to read off the wall, sheets to write on, references to look things up in, and cards to test yourself with.

The First 1000 characters

• Self-print poster, ordered by frequency — 50 × 70cm (19.6″ × 27.5″)
• Practice writing sheets with stroke order diagrams
• Reference sheets — definitions, character breakdowns, HSK vocabulary

The Second 1000 characters

• The same four resources again, for characters 1,001–2,000

Radicals and components

• Essential Radicals — the 96 radicals worth learning first, with stroke order and practice blocks (simplified only)
• The Chinese Radicals Scroll — a self-print poster of all 214 Kangxi radicals
• The Elements of Chinese — the poster, plus its reference sheet of all 214 Kangxi radicals, variants and common components

Bonus

• Pinyin flashcards — every valid syllable in Chinese, A4 and US Letter
• Vocab labels — plain and colour

Every resource comes in both simplified and traditional versions, except Essential Radicals, which is simplified only.

Download and print at home, or take the files to a print shop. You get individual PDFs — no zip file to wrestle with. Print what you need, when you need it, as many times as you like. Nothing is shipped.
