This mitt design is called Pearls Please! as it's inspired by the elegance of opera gloves and long pearl necklaces worn by the ladies of Downton Abbey.

While the back of the hand and thumb gusset feature columns of slip-stitch rib dotted with pearl-like bobbles, the palm is worked in stocking stitch for contrast with a pointed rib on the inside of the wrist. Pattern includes charted instructions for two sizes.

Time to get your bobble-knitting game on. Pearls Please!
