BedrockGuard: Anti-cheat for Bedrock (Geyser/Floodgate) players

YOUR JAVA ANTI-CHEAT WASN'T BUILT FOR BEDROCK PLAYERS

Grim, Vulcan and the like model the Java client. Bedrock players reach your server through Geyser with different movement, touch controls, controllers and timing. So Java anti-cheats either exempt Geyser players, leaving Bedrock cheaters free, or flag legitimate mobile players.

BedrockGuard fills that gap. It analyses only Floodgate players and leaves Java players to your existing anti-cheat, so the two never overlap.

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1.0: COMBAT DETECTION

- Velocity (anti-knockback): checks that players take the knockback they receive. Tuned for mobile: late knockback, the pause menu and frozen clients don't count.

- KillAura: several targets hit in the same tick, and hits far outside the player's view (> 100°, wide enough for touch players).

- Verification bot (experimental, off by default): a fake player shown only to the suspect, behind them. Only a cheat hits it. /bguard check <player>.

- /bguard stats: alerts per hour by input mode (touch, controller, keyboard), to spot a threshold that is too strict for mobile players.

- The last 5 hits (target, distance, angle, ping) in /bguard info and in Discord combat alerts.

- Alerts show ping, device and proxy mode; long Discord alerts are shortened instead of dropped.

- The new checks only alert by default (punish: false): no hit is cancelled.

CHECKS

- Timer: the client runs faster than real time

- Speed: moving faster than vanilla allows (Speed effect and ice taken into account), with setback

- Fly: ignoring gravity, and hovering motionless in mid-air, with setback

- Reach: hitting from more than 3 blocks, with ping compensation, on players and mobs; out-of-reach hits on players are cancelled

- Nuker: several blocks broken in one tick, or too many per second; the break is cancelled

- Scaffold: blocks placed in mid-air, several per tick, or too fast; the placement is cancelled

- AutoClicker: clicking faster than a human can

- BadPackets: values no legitimate client can send

Every threshold is configurable, and every check can be turned off.

BUILT FOR REAL SERVERS

- Paper and Folia, 1.21 to 26.x. Tested on Paper 1.21.11, Paper 26.3, Folia 26.3, and behind Velocity and BungeeCord proxies.

- Lightweight: under 0.1 ms per tick for 20 Bedrock players in our benchmark.

- Violation levels that decay over time, so occasional lag does not build up into a punishment.

- Staff alerts in game, toggled per staff member.

- Discord webhook: alerts and punishments go to your staff channel, with spam protection.

- Configurable punishment command (kick, tempban, your own command).

- Developer API: a cancellable ViolationEvent and violation level lookups.

- English and French.

- No player limit (the free version analyses 5 Bedrock players at a time).

REQUIREMENTS

- Paper or Folia 1.21 to 26.x, Java 21+

- Geyser + Floodgate on the server, or Geyser on a Velocity / BungeeCord proxy with Floodgate on both

- PacketEvents 2.14+

- Timer and hover detection need 1.21.2 or newer

- Keep Geyser's forward-player-ping at false (default)
