ASA Wild Flowers Baby
An ASA blanket in style of “this actually looks like something” this blanket has an abstract flower in the design.
Finished size is approximately 10 times bigger than your 4-round square. Sample measures 40" square.
The idea behind the All Squared Away patterns is to take the traditional granny square pattern and make it sing! These patterns are designed to use squares of different sizes, which makes them ideal for using up scraps; while the joining method used cuts down on the number of ends you need to weave in.
Though it uses granny squares, this is not a beginner pattern. It’s all about the joining method.
This pattern uses the continuous joining method described in this tutorial: https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/fantasticmio/4069169/1-25
or this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/LO40rxGSxpM
This pattern includes both right- and left-handed joining schematics.
This was designed with using up scraps in mind. Gauge isn’t critical, as granny squares are quite forgiving.
Yarn needed for the join is estimated at 500 - 600 yards
