I’ve long admired Stuart Close’s The Genius of Homœopathy, and as an interpretive text building on the Organon, I believe this to be far more consistent with “roots” philosophy that Kent’s Lectures on Homœopathic Philosophy, which is more often used in homeœopathic education, but might better be entitled Kent’s Lectures on Swedenborgian Philosophy (followers of Swedenborg consider Kent’s work to be one of the best representations of Swedenborg’s teachings). Chapter XI, addressing Symptomatology and the Totality of Symptoms, is particularly insightful.

In recent years, it’s become more difficult to find this in print form. Although digital versions exist online, I thought it would be helpful to create a version in eBook format that might later be made available in print-on-demand format.

Adding my commentary feels like a rather bold move. I do so not to challenge Close, but to add what I might from the perspective that a century of experience has added to Close’s perspective, along with my own 30+ years of practice and reflection.
