"Night and Day" is a popular song written by the legendary American composer and songwriter Cole Porter. The song was composed for the 1932 musical play "Gay Divorce" and was later included in the 1934 film adaptation of the musical, titled "The Gay Divorcee," starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. "Night and Day" has since become one of Porter's most famous and enduring compositions, with numerous artists recording their versions of the song over the years. Kaylene opens with a whimsical scat with stacked vocals, opening the door to the wonderful tune. (Personnel: Bunny Brunel, basses/guitar; Bryan Cabrera, drums; Monette Marino, percussion)
