This is my exact OBS configuration — the same setup I use to record all my content. It's built to be far more optimized than recording with Nvidia App, which isn't properly tuned for high-performance capture and ends up costing you serious frame rate.

Why OBS over Nvidia App?

Nvidia App is poorly optimized for recording — you lose FPS you don't need to lose. Switching to my OBS preset can gain you over 40 FPS compared to recording the same game with Nvidia App.
