Speckled yarns are all the rage.
The colorfully mottled and handpainted skeins are works of art in and of themselves – simply irresistible!
But many knitters are unsure how to use them effectively. Often the beauty of the twisted hank loses its appeal as the colors seemingly misbehave on the needles. Or the skein is permanently relegated to the stash, never to discover its true potential or fulfill its destiny.
So I’ve gone back to the drawing board – the blank slate – and created these designs specifically to play along with precocious and unpredictable bursts of color … a collection that allows the speckles to show off, without being overpowered by them … a beautiful symbiosis of form and fiber.
The collection includes seven beautiful patterns, including a pullover and accessories such as: shawls, hats, mitts and a cowl.
