Saxon is just a poor boy in a humble city and town of the mighty kingdom known as Valoria. But things turn up for him when a rich family decides to hire him as one of their many butlers. This isn't just any family however, this family is among the nine wealthiest and powerful families in the country, widely known as the Noble Nine. Things are looking up for Saxon's seemingly quiet life among the rich when things change in the blink of an eye. The same day he arrived, under the cover of night, the head of the family's household gets assassinated by mysterious hitmen. Naturally, this would mean that the man's oldest child would take over, but this family, in particular, has an age-old rule that is used to protect the blood-related heirs, known as the Two-Faced False Nine Rule, which means one of their staff becomes head for their sake. For one reason or the other, the head of the household, Dorian Glade, chose Saxon to be that head. Now the weight of a wealthy and powerful family rests on his shoulders, responsible for protecting, providing, and bonding with his new family as he takes on many ordeals with betrayers, rival families, and problems that the nation of Valoria itself presents.
