Poppy is the fourth design in the Weeds Collection of tams.

This pattern features a design based upon the buds and seed capsules of the common field poppy. Seen in meadows and on wastelands all over the UK during the summer, these beautifully simple flowers glow a rich red amongst the ripening grasses, but although it is the flowers that we look for and remember, the buds and seed capsules are beautiful in their own right. Instructions are given for three sizes, to fit small, medium, or large. Beads represent the poppy seeds and are an optional extra detail. The hat, being a tam, is roomy and warm.
