All the tracks on this album were recorded live, in real time to a stereo output, using the software modular synthesisers VCV Rack and Voltage Modular. Each track is a single patch on one or the other. There are no overdubs, and minimal post-processing, apart from mastering in Ableton Live.

No keyboards were used, only internal sequencing to sculpt the sounds. Three VSTs - Portal, Xenoverb and Soundtoys Effect Rack - were used sparingly as effects.

This album was created, played and recorded at Ochil Mobile Studio, Fishcross, Scotland, May - July 2023.
