Key Holder / Entryway Organizer — Pine Build Plan No. 11, PDF Plan with Layout Diagram, Cut List & Costs
Build the piece that ends the front-door pile-up: keys, mail, sunglasses, and the dog leash all land in one 16 in wall organizer — a top shelf for wallet and glasses, an open mail pocket, and five double hooks giving ten hanging points. This 5-page PDF plan (Build Plan No. 11 in the Fox Feather Farms winter series) makes the 16 x 8 in (40.6 x 20.3 cm) organizer from short pine offcuts with straight cuts only, in a square modern line or with rounded farmhouse corners. Inside: a dimensioned layout diagram with design notes, a complete cut list, a full materials list with per-line costs in Canadian dollars (about $18 in a batch, $15–24 one-off), the tools required, finishes and cure times, a batch plan, and a 7-step build summary. Builder's notes cover a simpler 12 in hook-board variant at about $11 in materials, the walnut deluxe version, personalizing the back panel with a routed or stencilled name, and the paper hanging template for the two keyhole hangers. About 1.5–2 hours for a single unit. Personal use only — print and use as often as you like for yourself or as gifts; please don't redistribute the files or resell them.
What you need: Kiln-dried pine 1x8 (one 8 ft board makes two units), five matte black double hooks, keyhole hangers, a table saw or mitre saw, sander, and drill/driver; a jigsaw only if you round the corners. A printer if you want the plan on paper.
