Rememory Pad Organiser PDF Sewing Pattern

Rememory is a project suitable for enthusiastic beginner sewists. Rememory is a organiser designed to hold a shopping list style pad with a width up to 4” (10.2cm) and a height up to 9.5” (24cm). Rememory also has a zip pocket, handy for storing pens, receipts, stamps, or other items, and an optional elastic band designed to hold documents steady, or for clipping paperclips onto. Rememory can be used as a flat desk organiser and be folded up via either a snap tab or elastic closure for transporting or storing. You can substitute magnetic snaps/your preferred closure for the kam snaps at your preference.

Rememory can be made in a variety of fabric bases, including woven cotton and canvas. It is possible to use vinyl for both the exterior and visible lining pieces, but please be aware that this can create some thick layers and be difficult to turn through in the last steps of the pattern. For this reason, I recommend using canvas or woven for the visible lining and lining pieces.  

For this project I recommend interfacing all woven and canvas exterior pieces in full using a lightweight woven interfacing, and pattern pieces are also included for adding an extra interfacing to the exterior pieces to add extra stability to your project should you wish to do so. All fabric requirements are contained on the download, along with detailed instructions and photographs. Please note this download contains a printable pattern and full measurements for all pieces, and can be printed in both A4 and borderless US letter formats.

15” wide by 12” tall  (38cm wide by 30.5cm tall) of Exterior Fabric

20” wide by 20” tall  (51cm wide by 51cm tall) of Exterior OR Visible Lining Fabric

10” wide by 10” tall  (25.5cm wide by 25.5cm tall) of Unseen Lining Fabric

Optional Woven Interfacing as per above (for fabric exterior pieces)

10” (25.4cm) piece of size 5 zipper tape and one zipper pull
