"Homeward Bound" by Simon & Garfunkel tells the story of an exhausted touring musician who is deeply homesick and longing for comfort, love, and stability.

Here is my live version performed before a crowd in Germany just playing guitar together with my former Duo partner Simone and her backvocals.

• Alienation and Exhaustion: The musician feels disconnected from his surroundings. He performs mechanically, feeling like a stranger even though the venues and crowds all start to look the same.
• The Longing for Home: His mind constantly drifts toward a place of comfort, captured in the famous line: "Home, where my music's playin' / Home, where my love lies waitin' silently for me."
