in search of home. [A guide to looking for somewhere to live]

Finding a home is partly about finding a property, but it is also about learning how to look. This publication follows the search from understanding a place and exploring the market, through viewings and compromise, to recognising when you may finally have found somewhere worth calling home.

I wrote this guide, split over eight sections to help home-searches improve their home-searching methods. I have tried to explain in detail how I approach looking for a place to call home.
