Canada - Five Years
Canada – Five Years is a 78-page square-format photography book documenting the first five years of Brazilian photographer Alex Kidd’s life in Canada.
Between 2020 and 2025, Alex lived in Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver — three cities, each with its own rhythm, atmosphere, and way of life. During this period, he carried his camera everywhere, quietly documenting fragments of daily experience.
More than a travel diary, the book is a reflection on migration, memory, and perception, tracing the process of building a life in a new country through images.
